San Benito Veterinary Center is a fast-paced, youthful practice located in the rustic agricultural town of Hollister California.  We are seeking small or mixed animal associate veterinarians, full or part time. The owners of the practice, Drs. Arthur and Lindsey Sanders, are a young couple with young children and, as such, seek to foster an exceptional work-life balance for everyone on their team.

Veterinary medicine can be a high stress career and, because of this,

minimizing stress outside of practice is of paramount importance.

Want five eight-hour days? Four ten-hour days? Three fourteen-hour days? Part time? San Benito Veterinary Center will make it happen. In addition, we offer a record-transcription service that allows you to simply speak your records throughout the day, eliminating the need for long nights of record typing that keep you from being home and relaxing and spending time with your family. 

San Benito Veterinary Center is the highest volume practice serving Hollister.  Due to our high caseload and relative distance from the nearest cosmopolitan area, we have become more of a general practice/ER hybrid, but with no after-hours or on-call responsibilities. We are currently open 8am-6pm, 7 days per week, but our hours can change as needed.  We treat mainly dogs and cats, but some of our veterinarians also treat reptiles, poultry and other birds, small mammals, and wildlife, so you are welcome to see whatever species you are comfortable with. In addition, we have a four-stall barn and the facilities to see large animals for any veterinarian who might be interested. Large animals are a truly underserved group in Hollister, as there is not a single large animal hospital in Hollister or even in San Benito county, so this could be a golden opportunity for a largely untapped client base for any motivated large or mixed animal veterinarian! We currently offer small animal medicine including state of the art abdominal ultrasound, full digital radiography, cutting edge dentistry with brand new dental radiograph machine and dental equipment, full in-house lab, and small animal surgery ranging from spays and neuters to advanced soft tissue procedures and some orthopedics. We will soon be adding endoscopy and CO2 laser surgery.

• Base pay of $120,000/year with commission bonuses equal to 20-22% of your production.
